A Journey of the Self Through the Self into the Self

Most people believe yoga is a work-out that touches not just your body but the soul too. It is not about the poses, positions, postures or simply touching toes. I found out it is much more than that – it is a spiritual practice that makes us reachable, open and more focussed and aware of the self within. It is the union of the body and soul through consciousness. It made me realise what I knew about myself and be who I am by taking attention to my inner self. If you are yet to find yourself then come to Mona vale yoga like I did. You will be surprised with who you meet. I felt like a free bird – free from bondages of fear, anger, anguish and loneliness. It emptied me from my limited belief, regrets, doubts, resentment and worries. I was left with nothing and filled with happiness, calmness, health, love and care, warmth and understanding for all including myself.

One needs to understand that it is all inside us, nothing comes from outside. If you look for happiness and calmness outside then you will be looking in the wrong place.
