People join Mona Vale yoga classes in New South Wales for a number of different reasons, and each reason is personal. What we do know is that once a yogi, always a yogi. Yoga is generally practiced for a combination of peace of mind and a strong body. Yoga, and there are different types on offer although each type has the same premise, is about mindfulness and health. A yoga practice can be simple, it can be challenging, and for some trying new poses for the same time, can seem impossible! But yoga classes start slowly, are available for all levels, are non-competitive, encourage practitioners to go at their own pace, and are always, always, fabulous. And that is why once you are a yogi, you are always a yogi.
What do you need for yoga
The only thing you need for yoga classes are comfortable clothing, a yoga mat although most studios provide mats too, and a bottle of water for afterwards. Yoga is an uplifting practice. It’s generally a fairly quiet practice, with only the teacher guiding you. Yogis understand that each body is different and different people, or body types, can do different things. Not everyone can get into child’s pose easily. Some yogis never learn how to do a headstand. That is fine. As long as you don’t put pressure on yourself, you do what your body tells you to do, and you enjoy the meditation at the end, which is always brilliant, you will be fine.
If you are new to yoga, chat to the instructor before the class. They will keep an eye on you, quietly, to ensure you are doing the poses correctly, and to prevent injury. Yoga can be done any time of day, and Mona Vale yoga in New South Wales offer different classes for different levels. Namaste!
